Ladies Skill Sharing-Established 2023
The Ladies Skill Sharing group, established by Rachel Wallace in collaboration with Dusty Goat Homestead in Northwest Florida, aims to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where women in local communities can acquire essential homemaking and homesteading skills from previous eras. Our objective is to educate women within our communities on achieving self-sufficiency and maximizing sustainability. We are cultivating a community of like-minded women dedicated to sharing these invaluable skills with future generations.

DAVID THE GOOD-THE SURVIVAL GARDENER
We are delighted to inform you that David The Good will be delivering a presentation on the subject of "Grocery Row Gardening." David is a versatile individual, acknowledged as the author of several books, a radio producer, painter, garden writer, musician, naturalist, educator, and an innovative gardener with nearly thirty years of experience in horticulture.

He has a keen interest in unusual and exotic perennial crops, is a passionate reader, values botanical Latin, and spends significant time exploring the wilderness in search of unique plants and wildlife to document and share.

Black's Tropical Homestead-Bobby and Sherrie Black
Growing Health. Growing Community.
Bobby and Sherrie Black are the dynamic duo behind Black’s Tropical Homestead—a Southern Georgia-based homestead committed to growing their own food, preserving what they harvest, and inspiring others to live a healthier, more self-sufficient lifestyle. What began as a personal health journey has grown into a movement rooted in purpose, passion, and education.
Through their vibrant YouTube channel, in-person workshops, and live events like the SoilFamily Expo, Bobby and Sherrie share the highs and lows of homesteading with honesty and humor. Their message is simple: you don’t need a farm to start a homestead—you just need the will to grow.
From rare tropical fruit trees to homemade herbal remedies, everything they produce is crafted with love and a commitment to clean, natural living. Whether they’re tending to the garden or connecting with their growing online family, the Blacks lead with faith, authenticity, and southern hospitality.
